A Few Words About What I Do

Here you will find answers to your doubts about the questions we are asked the most about our services.

General Questions

With the advances in technology, anyone with a decent camera, or a good smartphone can take a photo, but it should be noted that there are differences and I’ll explain why.

A professional is capable of turning anything ordinary into extraordinary, for this it is necessary to have the technical capacity, speed of execution, knowledge in composition, direction and lighting, adding to that the pre and post production part, A photographer invests thousands of hours in preparing and a lot of money to buy the necessary equipment and programs to be able to give you an unforgettable experience. And many of us don’t understand the value of a photograph until it is the only memory of that loved one we have left.

I Have Always Had an Affinity for Photography. So, I Thought, Why Don’t I Use All the Time I Have Spent Watching Videos And Tutorials Of Great Photographers Who Inspired Me And Materialized My Dreams? I Decided That It Was Time To Give Character To My Passion For Photography And To Organize All The Knowledge That I Had Been Acquiring Randomly.

Back In 2020 I Had the Opportunity to Enroll In A Diploma Course Endorsed By The Autonomous University Of Mexico, Together With The SocialArte Academy Based In Spain. There, I Was Able to Acquire the Systematic Knowledge That Has Allowed Me to Develop My Skills More And More Every Day. This Step Gave Me the Opportunity To Meet Great Friends Who Shared The Same Passion As Mine.

I really like natural light because it shows us beauty at its best, but if necessary, I use studio lights and create my own light using color gels to make the environment as warm or cold as necessary to bring out the best. of you.

No, at the moment I do not offer video services, but I could refer you to a professional in the area.

I always shoot in the Raw Large format, because it is the one that allows me to get more information from the highlights, mid tones and shadows and gives me more flexibility when developing and editing.

Booking A Session

In order to reserve a date for your photo session, I need a signed contract and a non-refundable date hold fee. Click HERE for more info about my packages or fill this Contact Form

The fact that for a reason a client changes his mind does not take away the time invested in carrying out the contracted session. Also, as a photographer I have lost the opportunity to book another session on the date and time that I promised for you. When a session is booked, I block that date and time. This means that a cancellation results in a significant loss of income.

If you need to postpone or reschedule your session, please let me know as soon as possible and we will arrange alternate plans.

If your session is affected by weather conditions, or force majeure, and we need to postpone it, we will coordinate a new date at no extra cost to you.

After signing your contract online, you will be able to make your payment electronically through any of the following applications: Venmo, Zelle or Cash App, you can also make your payments by personal and/or business check.

We take into account the distance in miles from where we are based, REVERE, MA.

For longer trips, expect an hourly rate of travel.

Yes. I have traveled as far as Miami, Florida for work! Your photography proposal will need to include the cost of travel and reasonable accommodation expenses.

Sure, I have complete galleries at your disposal where you can see the consistency of our work.

I ask for feedback from most of my customers, so you can hear straight from them. Read my Testimony from Happy Customers and check out my Google Reviews. You are welcome to reach out to any of my past clients, but I expect these testimonials are enough!

Photo Session Questions

It’s a really good idea when clients plan and come up with a shot list. As photographers this allows us to establish the approximate time that the session will last and determine what would be the best locations and what we need to use for the photos of your session.

Ideally, you should arrive 15 or 20 minutes in advance, taking into account any mishap that may arise. If you expect to be more than 15 minutes late, please call to make sure we still have time for your full session. If you arrive late, I cannot guarantee availability for the entire time of the session.

Deadlines are estimates. If the time is about to end and it seems that we will not be able to finish in the stipulated time, we will contact you and I will ask you if you want to extend the time, we stick to the hourly rate stipulated in the contract.

The Cloudy sky is excellent for photography because clouds are a natural diffuser of the sun’s rays, and it helps us avoid very marked shadows. If we finally determine that the weather is not suitable due to bad weather, rain, or excessive wind, we will reschedule your session for a new date, and the deposit paid will be transferred to the new date.

No. Watermarks will not be included on downloads, prints, or other purchased products.

By contract, your photos are available for viewing and downloading during the time stipulated in that contract. Although all my clients’ files are backed up, this time is just a security precaution in case of extreme cases of data loss.

Your galleries are not a way to back up your photos. Be sure to keep a duplicate of your final photos in a safe place where you can access them in case you misplace your work files.

Many photographers include a “copyright release” or “full use permission” in their contracts, which generally means you can use the images for whatever is defined in that release/use. That is not the same as owning the copyright. Copyright simply means that I am the creator of the photographs and I “own” the copyright. Just as a musician owns her original song, or an artist owns the rights to her painting, a photographer’s work is protected by copyright. Selling or obtaining “copyright” is NOT an option I offer with my standard contracts, packages or services.

RAW files are not delivered, nor are they available for viewing or purchase. The excluded photographs are deleted on purpose because they have some fault, be they technical, compositional, etc.

My main camera is a Nikon Z6 Mark II, is a Miroless System, and I carry a back-up just in case. My favorite lenses to shoot with are my 35 mm F1.8, 50mm F1.8, 24-70mm F/2.8, and my 24-70mm F/2.8. My lighting gear brand is Godox.

YES!cWe have a studio equipped with everything necessary to provide the service we offer, located in Peabody, MA

Yes, I have the necessary equipment and software to connect the camera to a computer and view the live footage. But I would like to clarify that we cannot do it for all sessions due to logistics. If you have any questions about this, contact me and we will evaluate the possibility.

Photography is the art of painting with light, without light, there is no photography. Having said this, it is very important that you communicate this situation to your photographer, if necessary and possible the photographer should visit the place to ensure the good result and determine what additional equipment he must have to light, including knowing if there are electrical outlets available for studio lights or know if you have to bring battery lights, which means that you don’t need a power outlet.

The level of post-production depends on the type of photography and the need. The preselection of the photographs is done carefully, the white balances, light, color are adjusted, and they are improved as far as possible. The final work is always retouched. Select advanced retouching request may require additional fees.

Everything will depend on the type of photography and the number of jobs we have at that time. Usually 2 weeks after (may vary) your photo shoot. The test galleries are provided through the Pixsieset platform. If you need a faster service for any emergency, an additional fee will apply.

Your gallery will be online for at least six weeks, after this time, there is a $75.00 fee for additional downloads.

I always try to have the images of my clients well protected. Before you even see your proof gallery, your images are backed up to two (2) locations. But I must point out that it is not an obligation to keep your photos stored beyond 6 months, this does not mean that we will not have them, but it is important that you know that it is not an obligation of the photographer, since our service is not a service of storage, our responsibility ends once we deliver the final photos to the client.

No. I remove duplicate images, test shots, missed shots, and any photos with bad angles or bad expressions. My goal is to deliver an exceptional final proofing gallery to each client, and selection is a very important part of the process.

I only use professional vendors who offer high-quality products made from archival materials. That means your final product will not only look amazing, but it will last a lifetime!
